Registered Veterinary Technician

Since 4 years of age, Elena knew she wanted to work with animals. As Elena got older, it was easy for her to decide that since the unconditional love from her fur family helped her through some of the toughest times in her life, she made the decision that she would devote her life to protecting, helping and nursing animals back to health.  Working in the field brings joy to Elena when she can help not only animals but pet parents as well.  She loves seeing the joy a pet can bring to someone’s life and watching a pet reach all their milestones and the bond they build with their family.  Elena has over 20 years of experience and has worked with wildlife, some exotics, large animals, thoroughbred horses, emergency and referral as well as small animal medicine.  Her interests include anesthesia, emergency, critical care, hematology, cytology and client care.

In her spare time, Elena loves spending time with her family, fur family and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Girl Guides, Earth Hour & Veterinary Outreach Program.
